Logan started about a week ago telling me everyday "Mommy, we forgot to pick up daddy on the ship today." So we decided to try a paper chain to see if it would help him to understand that daddy was going to be gone for quite a while. We tear off one link every night before bed and when all the links are gone...daddy will be home. We've had it up for about 3 days and yesterday I think he finally understood what it meant. He said "Mommy, that is a LOT of days". And all I could say was "yes, it is a LOT of days."
